Bookings Diary 2012

Mr Boom is happy to land his space ship at a birthday party, a nursery classroom, a primary school hall, a village hall, a church hall, a community centre, an open field on a sunny day, a Big Top or marquee, or a big theatre. He's not sure that he'd want to play a football stadium though! Close situations where he feels he can see everyone in the audience are his favourite and the show really needs a minimum of 16 children and adults for the circle dancing to work. In large theatres he does prefer to play in raked auditoriums where there is plenty of floor space for dancing. (eg The MacRobert Centre, Stirling) In fixed seating auditoriums he prefers to use stages where there is easy access on and off for children to participate in the fun. Mr Boom's show is very much a "join in" show rather than a "look at me" one.

If it's the first time you've ever organised a birthday party for your child and you're not quite sure how to go about it, you can get information at this non-profit making web site:- www.kidsbirthdaycakes.co.uk

If you'd like to book a concert or a party just email, write or phone to get further information. Mr Boom's Earth Base is near Biggar in South Lanarkshire, so bookings in locations outwith Central Belt, Scotland, are often best to be part of small tours, both ergonomically and economically, so check this bookings diary to see when Mr Boom's in your area. Note the "Bookings Welcome" banners. If there's no bookings around the date you want, you could even start up a tour for him! Rates/Fees are reasonable and flexible, given that Mr Boom neither courts nor receives any sponsorship from the ArtsCouncil, EEC or the Lottery, etc.
